Project Description

One of the ways RCO plans to strengthen a sense of community is by coordinating a Community Volunteer Program. RCO’s volunteer program has two parts. The first part operates as a volunteer bank for the city of Green and surrounding areas. Our desire is to optimize the volunteer process to quickly match the needs of the city with an organized bank of available volunteers. The second part is to form teams of aligned volunteers who share a similar passion for giving back and deploy them to own a particular focus in the community.

If you are a part of a local organization with volunteer needs or are interested in volunteering in the community, please contact us.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.”

– Philippians 2:3-7
